The set, inspired by Swedish landscapes and architecture, was designed to enhance the presence of the puppets and performers. We wanted all elements to visually pop out of a neutral background. This led to the invention of diverse mechanical elements which were integrated into the floor and which popped up when needed to locate a scene.
