The fall and decline of Tom Rakewell, vibrantly retold in an exciting video collaboration with Ergo Phizmiz and Lottie Bowater, in a digital and social media influenced world.

Costume design and creation was as playful and fun as the outcome, with the unified chorus line and their contour instagram makeup to the exaggerated principal characters such as Baba the Turk inspired by celebrity looks such as Lady Gaga, Grace Jones and various fashion influencers.

Video design was the essence of the setting, requiring close collaboration with the video team. Curious Space created some of the more static backgrounds, which were then reworked with moving images by Ergo Phizmiz and Lottie Bowater, as well as building and animating two 3d computer models of a carousel and a spinning room, into which video artwork was integrated.
